[Event Post]
::So, Judai and Asuka and anyone else living at Sakana, you feel a shift in the air this late August Day, as someone approaches from the trees, walking on the top of residential walls and other objects. Green haired, adjusting gloves.::

When he sees who's out there, he makes a slight exasperated sigh before looking back into the apartment and at Asuka.*
Looks like we have company.

::You can sense her shoulders stiffen.::

Ugh. Give me a minute to grab some decent pants and a shirt.
::Squirrels back into Sakana, as the Tengu Lord approaches, though they seem to have paused at a space where there's nothing that's higher ground.::
no subject
Though I think we both know what they want.
*Judai first makes sure that someone is keeping an eye on Asami, while he and Asuka deal with this. Thankfully, he has a number of Duel Spirits at his disposal, and the Neo Spacians were happy to watch her. He then heads out of the apartment first, to address their 'visitor'.*
So.
Nice evening we're having.

Personally, I find it unreasonably hot, but there is a certain charm to the end of the Witching Season, I agree.
::A Tengu wearing a black cloth of its face places a series of crates down for their lord, while they themselves never touching the lowly ground, as the Tengu master leaps over, and stands atop of the set of objects.::
no subject
Uh-huh. Right.
So... *He crosses his arms.* ... I assume you're here for the same thing we talked about previously.
no subject
Indeed.
Negotiations are preferable to violence, are they not, your majesty?
::Smiling.::
no subject
Agreed, but I'm pretty sure our stance hasn't changed since the last time.
no subject
But that means it hasn't worsened either, correct?
::Tapping their foot, there's an almost 'bird in a human meat suit energy' to them, honestly, the way the hold themselves, how they move, how they carry themselves..::
no subject
no subject
Very possible, but it's worth attempting, is it not?
::Chuckles lightly with a vague 'caw' in their voice.::

[In The Evening]
So. What should we discuss to start.
Re: [In The Evening]
Re: [In The Evening]
The four I could find records on were Wakahisa Noriko, Adam Van Der Aart, Yamamoto Suzume, and Raisekai Yamimaru.
... And they did Something down there.
Re: [In The Evening]
Do you have any idea on what that something was?
Re: [In The Evening]
Probably magic. Deep. Old. Magic.
I'm not sure the 'what' matters. It's basically the repercussions that matter. And the repercussions... it's just our day-to-day life. Everything that's piled up over nearly 20 years.
Re: [In The Evening]
Re: [In The Evening]
Yes. I wouldn't call it conspiracy, I'm not sure it's a grand plan, but... I have strong suspicions their actions there snowballed over the years. Leading to a huge influx of Duel Spirits on Earth, specifically in Japan, as a part of this.
Re: [In The Evening]
...so since our visitor from earlier asked us if we knew about this 'Last Class' specifically, then what they did also has connections to why our visitor wants Fujiwara's research notes and why they feel it can help our current 'reality' from, I guess, falling apart?
Re: [In The Evening]
... Possibly. I think Fujiwara's notes, while not literal, paint a picture of a map of the universe, in a certain way. Not literally, but.
Fujiwara did a lot of magical research into 'left hand magic', stuff that taps into indirect paths and strange and mysterious powers, and The Last Class did so too. They and our visitor understand ways the world is put together we don't.
Fujiwara also had a really good guess of what... let's say Noriko, because she's the most active one of the Last Class, but had a really good guess of what Noriko would do to reshape society and the world.
Re: [In The Evening]
Re: [In The Evening]
More or less.
To keep this simple, honey, from Fujiwara's possessions, the notes I've read, and comments by our guest, they want to know where the maintenance tunnels are so they can repair the water and sewage system.
And then argue semantics with us and Noriko later, probably at the end of a katana or Duel Disk.
Re: [In The Evening]
*Judai gives out a bit of a sigh as he rubs his face in slight frustration for a moment.*
Alright.
So what should our move here be? I'm not keen on handing the notes over to someone we don't know, who we can only take their word for on why they need it, but, also...
... I guess I don't disbelieve their reasonings either. We all know SOMETHING about our current reality was possibly... re-made or re-shaped. A lot of people remember things that seemingly never happened in this reality, or remember two lives, or find things don't match up with other things...
... it does kinda feel like, if our current reality WAS re-made, then... yeah, it feels like it's not entirely complete?
So the question is, do we trust them with these notes? Or should we try and find out more or another way? Maybe ask Noriko about them since she was originally involved in Fujiwara's research?
